The Nuclear Daiquiri is a bold and potent take on the classic Daiquiri. While it certainly packs a punch, its balanced flavors make it dangerously easy to sip. The combination of overproof rum and Green Chartreuse results in a wild, complex, and herbal flavor profile that somehow just works.

Nuclear Daiquiri
Ingredients
- 1 oz Overproof rum
- 3/4 oz Green Chartreuse
- 1/2 oz Falernum
- 1 oz Lime juice
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
- Double strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass.
- Optional: Garnish with a fresh or dried lime wheel.
Tips:
- For the rum, go for a funky Jamaican white overproof such as Wray & Nephew. Rum-Bar and Rum Fire are great alternatives as white overproofs, and I’ve also had success with other styles such as Smith & Cross.
- Want to lean into the “nuclear” theme? Serve the cocktail in uranium glassware.
